1. As a god of anger, He is Rudra, the Red One, feared by one and all.
2. As Kailasapathi, He is the Lord of Kailash, His Abode in the Himalayas.
3. As Purusha, He is Iswara Himself.
4. As the Lord of the beings, He is known as Pasupathinath.
5. As the husband of Uma, the Mother Goddess, He is known as Umapathi or Parvathipathi.
6. As the bearer of the sacred river Ganges, He is known as Gangadhar.
7. Because of His matted hair, He is dearly called as Jatadhari, by His ascetic followers.
8. As a perfect being, He is Siddheshwar.
9. With His Trident in His hands, He became popular as heroic and fearless Trisuladhari.
10. As the world teacher, He was eulogized as Dakhshinamurthi by Adi Shankara in his famous book, "Hymns to Dakhshinamurthi".
11. To the connoisseurs of art, He is well known as Nataraja, master of all dance forms.
12. As the perfect Yogi, He is credited with the source of all knowledge concerning the various yogas.

Such was His prowess and divinity, that Lord Vishnu in His incarnations as Rama and Krishna, worshipped Him with great reverence.

Mahamrityunjaya Mantra - Meaning & Benefits :
Mahamrityunjaya Mantra is one among the oldest and most important Mantra's in Indian mythology and spirituality.

It is a combination of three Hindi language words i.e. ‘Maha’, which means great, ‘Mrityun’ means death and ‘Jaya’ means victory, which turns into conquer or victory over death
